The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, other requirements, or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.

This class is designed for healthcare providers. This class is for either intial certification or recertification.

The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe timely and effective manner.

Intended Audience: This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

AHA recommends the purchase of the 2020 BLS student handbook. They can be acquired through AHA at onlineaha.org/AHA, worldpoint.com or amazon.com. 

Class starts promptly at the listed start time. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class is scheduled to start, so that you may sign in and the instructor can go over any administrative information that needs to be covered. All students must be in the class by 15 minutes after class start time. Any student who is not in class by then must reschedule their course. No refunds will be issued.

The Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens and First aid/CPR/AED combo course teaches students how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

This course is designed for scouts and scout leaders, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone who works or spends time in remote environments, this course teaches advanced life skills to be used in emergencies when help from professional first responders may be far away. Based on the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, this course aligns with OSHA’s Best Practices for Workplace First Aid Training Programs.
Prerequisites: Must be at least 14 years old and hold current adult CPR/AED certification. (If not certified we can offer this training as well)Certificate available upon successful completion of course

This training program is set up right in your own home incorporating defense strategies using a target shooting computer program and laser pistols that will help you create a decisive plan of action to mentally and physically prepare for a home invasion. 

The H.I.D.E plan consists of:

• Creating deterrents
• Creating action plans based on your home layout
• Responding to in-home threats
• Tactical training scenarios with the use of laser training guns
• Discussing your legal rights
• Dealing with the aftermath

Unfortunately Active Violence is becoming more prevalent in the United States. More than 99 % of gun deaths in the US are from individual shooting incidents rather than mass shootings. That means armed robber and domestic violent abusers entering into businesses, homes and schools is far more likely than mass shootings. 
Our goal is to educate our communities, schools and businesses about how to recognize the warning signs of the potential threat of a violent individual as well as creating a comprehensive “Emergency Response Plan” (ERP).

We believe our (AVERT training) gives you the best tools to understand how to recognize warning signs, react quickly in an active shooter situation, and learn how to control bleeding in life-threatening situations.  

In addition, our AVERT training will also show you how to disarm a shooter as a last resort if escaping is not an option.

AVERT teaches how to:                                                                                                             

• Recognize warning signs using situational awareness                                                            
• Decide whether to escape, evade or attack                                                                                 
• Apply critical stop the bleeding techniques                                                                          
• Respond quickly and confidently in an emergency.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the rate of violent crimes against real estate professionals is alarmingly higher than in many other professions. In 2023, several notable incidents involved real estate agents who were killed or injured on the job. The National Association of Realtors (NAR) reported that approximately 2% of their 1.5 million members, or around 30,000 agents, were victims of crimes such as attacks, assaults, and robberies while showing properties.  In 2020 alone, there were 48 fatal incidents involving real estate professionals in the United States. These figures underscore the industry's need for heightened awareness and preventive measures.

Church security training is a program designed to educate church staff and volunteers on safety protocols and procedures to protect the congregation and church property from potential threats, including active shooter situations, theft, vandalism, and emergencies, often covering topics like access control, observation skills, emergency response, and how to handle suspicious activity, all while maintaining a respectful and discreet presence within the church community.

• Emergency response procedures: Knowing how to react in case of fire, medical emergencies, or active shooter situations.
